People's Driving started in 2009 with a clear mission: to offer professional and reliable transport with a personal service. What once started with 4 vehicles and 3 drivers in the Mechelen region has since grown into a strong group of transport and mobility companies active throughout Belgium and beyond.
Through smart acquisitions, strategic investments and an unparalleled customer focus, People's Driving has become an established name in both passenger transport and freight logistics.

People's Driving is not a brand that emerged from nothing, but a story of vision, dedication and gradual expansion. Since the launch in 2009, the company has grown into an integrated mobility group with a broad range of services, a diverse fleet and a strong reputation in both passenger transport and freight logistics. A look back at how it all began – and where we stand today.
The start in Mechelen
In 2009, People's Driving was taken over from the original founder. With four vehicles and three drivers, the team began focusing on business transport for companies in the Mechelen region, supplemented by rides via local travel agencies. In this early phase, the focus was on short trips, always with efficient service and a personal approach at the centre — values that still form the basis of our operation today.
First expansion
Demand grew quickly. The fleet was expanded, as was the number of drivers. The client base expanded with professional clients, and our services became accessible in the Brussels and Antwerp regions. The first seeds for further growth had been planted.
Acquisition of AB Limo
To absorb seasonal fluctuations in business transport — particularly during school holidays and festival periods — the strategic decision was made to acquire AB Limo. This step brought People's Driving into a new segment: private and luxury transport for leisure and events. With four additional vehicles and two extra drivers, we not only expanded our capacity, but also our client base and geographical reach.
Doubling of capacity
The full integration of AB Limo led to a doubling of our fleet and headcount. Where we were still operating with eight vehicles in 2012, a year later we had sixteen. Our organisation also grew quickly on the operational side.
Partnership with Mercedes and BMW
In line with our business clients and VIP transport, our fleet was renewed with the latest models from Mercedes and BMW. This choice was not merely aesthetic, but a conscious investment in comfort, reliability and prestige. The fleet received a quality injection, which our clients immediately noticed in their experience.
The step into freight transport
In 2018, we took two important steps. First, we acquired Taxi Cool in Zaventem, further strengthening our coverage for passenger transport. Shortly afterwards came the acquisition of Mulders in Lebbeke — a key moment. This transporter, specialising in bulk transport, gave us access to the freight transport market. Where we had previously only transported people, we now had five trucks and the associated know-how to also offer logistics. From that point on, we became a true multi-disciplinary mobility partner, active on multiple fronts.
Explosive growth in transport
Thanks to new contracts and growing demand, our transport department experienced strong growth. In less than two years, the truck fleet was expanded from five to twenty vehicles. This scaling also meant more trips, more kilometres and more internal professionalisation.
Strengthening synergies: Transjoint and Truckwash
At an opportune moment, Transjoint came our way: a company with a client base that perfectly matched our business segment. The acquisition strengthened our client mix and generated new cross-pollinations. At the same time, we also acquired Cargovil Truckwash, which was located on the same premises. Thanks to this acquisition, we now have our own maintenance and cleaning facility — crucial for control, efficiency and sustainability.
Further scaling
The acquisition of Limousine RM in 2021 further expanded our private transport capacity. In 2022, Taxi Jan followed, further optimising our passenger transport network in Flanders. Each brand within our group found its place, with People's Driving as the coordinating force behind the scenes.
With Winkeleer into night transport and container logistics
In 2024, Winkeleer joined the group. This acquisition marked a new milestone: the expansion into night transport and the deployment of roll-off containers. Since then, we cover virtually every domain within transport and logistics. Wherever the demand lies, at People's Driving the answer is already underway.
